1.  Programme Production

Production and co-ordination of programmes for television channels and radio; production work of Janapadham- a radio documentary, PriyaKeralam- a news oriented programme in Akashavani and Naam Munnottu – Chief Minister's grievance redressal programme; production of documentaries for other departments; empanelment of documentary directors; in-house production of documentaries; shooting and production works of Naam Munnottu rogramme; production of documentaries on special occasions like anniversary celebrations of the government etc. 
Information Officer (Programme Production) acts as the cost committee convener of in-house productions.

Naam Munnottu

Naam Munnottu, an interactive video conferencing programme, is intended for the speedy disposal of public grievances. Produced by the Department of Information and Public Relations on behalf of Government of Kerala - Naam Munnott, telecast on Doordarshan and a host of private channels debates, enlightens and explores subjects with the public in the spotlight. Each episode of ‘Naam Munnott’ is an endeavor to identify changes, focus on the need for alternatives and to build consensus on Kerala’s current march towards a model State in the country. This weekly television programme anchored by Aranmula M.L.A. Veena George comprises a cross-section of people ranging from experts to the ordinary. Technical support for the programme is provided by the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT). Various channels have taken up the telecast of this programme at reduced rates as part of their social responsibility. The programme can be viewed on channels viz. Doordarshan, Asianet News, Mathrubhumi, Reporter, News 18, Media One, Kairali ,People, jaihihind, Jeevan, Kaumudi and Symphony ( middle east ). It has also got a YouTube channel.

2.     Audio-Video Documentation

Maintaining a audio-video digitalized archives; documentary production works; co-ordination of documentation stringers in districts; archiving of data for department and government; production of documentaries highlighting cultural heritage of the State and developmental and welfare activities of government; pre-production and post production works of Nava Keralam programme.

Information officer (Audio-Video Documentation) acts as the cost committee convener of outhouse productions.
